Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Aisha Heddou requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Eshaan B Patel moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Eshaan B Patel, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. GirthSummit (blether) 12:07, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Eshan - thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. I'm afraid that the article you wrote, which looks like an autobiography, is not really suitable for the project because it doesn't have any reliable sources to show that you are a notable person. If you really are notable, and there are sources to demonstrate that, you could add them to the article and resubmit it via the articles for creation process, but you're not really supposed to create articles about yourself directly. Thanks GirthSummit (blether) 12:11, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Binilnillium requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

August 2019[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Colonization of trans-Neptunian objects, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. –LaundryPizza03 (d) 08:32, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion nomination of Exclamation comma (main article)[edit]

Nomination of Base 11 Numeral System for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Base 11 Numeral System is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Base 11 Numeral System until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Speedy deletion nomination of E11 (search engine)[edit]

Hello Eshaan11,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged E11 (search engine) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Did you know that there is a policy about "colour" versus "color"? This is covered by the Manual of Style, Specifically Wikipedia:Manual of Style#National varieties of English: Stay with established spelling -- If an article has been in a given dialect for a long time, and there is no clear reason to change it, leave it alone. Editors should not change the spelling used in an article wholesale from one variant to another, unless there is a compelling reason to do so (which will rarely be the case). Other editors are justified in reverting such changes. Please stop trying to "correct" the spelling of color to colour without first discussing it at the relevant talk pages. I hope this helps. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Eshaan11. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Information icon Hello, I'm Ost316. I noticed that you recently removed content from Jay Sadguru Swami without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Restoring content; editorial concerns should be discussed on the talk page or the page should be nominated for WP:AFD if the article should not exist. Deleting content and moving is not the appropriate way address content concerns. Ost (talk) 15:40, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Eshaan, blanking and moving pages like you did is disruptive to say the least. If you believe information is incorrect, cite better sources or start a talk page discussion pointing to good sources. – Thjarkur (talk) 15:53, 6 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. You've built up a history of bad moves and it's becoming pretty disruptive.
