Notable[edit]

Per SONGS, this song is not notable. "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable. A separate article is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album."

As such, I am redirecting it again. If this is reverted, I will take the article directly to AfD, suggesting a redirect for the same reason. Mdsummermsw (talk) 12:20, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's a single and it hit the charts. The article stays. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikhil557 (talkcontribs) 01:27, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The lead single from an album by a major artist, featuring another major artist, spanning two very different genres, was always going to reach at least one major chart.--MartinUK (talk) 23:28, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Papercut?[edit]

  • Eh, they're just using the same style of playing the guitar. --ToyoWolf (talk) 07:49, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Papercut is not sampled at the end of the song. The two parts sound similar but they are very different. We Made It= 6 notes, guitar. Papercut= 4 notes, guitar effects keyboard synth by Joe Hahn --Bart-16 (talk) 13:28, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thiller and Remember The Name sampled?[edit]

I hear neither of those songs being sampled in We Made It. Are there specific points to hear these supposed samples? --ToyoWolf (talk) 07:47, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I heard the "Thriller" "samples". They only sound somewhat like them, they're not actually from Thriller. I'd recommend taking that part out. --ToyoWolf (talk) 04:27, 5 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
    • The Remember the Name samples are the beat, but I doubt if Papercut is a sample. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.70.35.12 (talk) 20:05, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Additional Info[edit]

I found something from Rome's official Blogspot in relation to the video. According to this entry, Rome was supposed to appear in the "We Made It" video shoot, but couldn't due to surgery. It is hinted that he may have produced a song for his upcoming album. ElMeroEse (talk) 05:22, 1 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

– The Busta Rhymes song is the only article using this title; it should be at the plain title, with the dab page at the (disambiguation) title. ShelfSkewed Talk 04:19, 3 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support. No other article exists with this name and the disambig page links to related articles. If those articles are created then we can discuss then but at the moment '(Busta Rhymes song)' is unnecessary disambiguation. Zarcadia (talk) 18:55, 9 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
