The German is not provided because the article was created filling a red link, without time for details then, and afterwards neglected. Any improvements are very welcome. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:06, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I looked for a German version; there is only de:Vaterunser. It makes no mention of Bach, Buxtehude, etc. It's easy enough to copy the German text from the web; Terry gives an English translation which is also available in several places on the web. I don't have the time (or the need) at the moment. (I have been lectured a little too often on the use of these articles on hymns as resources.) I am happy that this article does not contain an audio file of the hymn being played on a toy piano. Mathsci (talk) 11:07, 26 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
