Song's name has been changed to "Starships"[edit]

So what do we do now? Can we change the title of this article to "Starships (song)" ? Bleubeatle (talk) 01:10, 8 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Va Va Voom" and "Starships" are two different songs. Plans to release "Va Va Voom" were scrapped, and "Starships" was chosen as the lead single instead. Sc135 (talk) 03:59, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh ok. According to the Roman Reloaded article, "Va Va Voom" has been renamed as "Starships" so I assumed that there was a name change in the lead single. Hopefully that's been fixed now.Bleubeatle (talk) 10:15, 9 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please ignore my comment above. It was scrapped and Starships became the single instead. Bleubeatle (talk) 00:15, 14 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Single Artwork[edit]

I think we should probably re-upload the artwork for Va Va Voom and as a footnote, say, "Proposed artwork for the single before it was scrapped." 68.44.51.49 (talk) 02:01, 3 August 2012 (UTC) Who did nicki write the song about ? Va Va Voom added to uk radio playlist![edit]

Would this count as release history? It's been added to radio 1's c list this week and I've heard it on radio and kiss 100 here in the uk?!. here is the link! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/playlist/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.119.50 (talk) 21:12, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Music video[edit]

Is it true, that the music video for "Va Va Voom" is going to be released in November?Do we have a source?--Nikinikolananov (talk) 17:20, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

According to Minaj's Twitter, it will be released soon. --GouramiWatcher (Gulp) 16:23, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was released today,not in November!--Nikinikolananov (talk) 17:13, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sources[edit]

While relatively long and detailed, the article relies heavily upon sources to Twitter, which are inherently unreliable. They need to be replaced or the information needs to be removed. Sadly, that will take huge chunks out of the article. --Thevampireashlee (talk) 00:16, 2 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Official Single Cover?[edit]

I was searching and sourcing info on the official artwork off the single. I came across this single cover. This is also the same artwork cover taken from the official charts for the single, which is featured on several charts on this website.

However, on Coverlandia they had listed this as the official single cover, which was uploaded by the user off the website.

My main question is, should we just the picture in the infobox empty, or try and result in what cover we should add??? GirlsAlouud (talk · contribs} 05:41, 16 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Coverlandia has fan-made covers,not official!Nikinikolananov (talk) 17:43, 7 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Single Cover[edit]

STOP POSTING COVERS!! "Va Va Voom" doesn't have a cover, since it is only a radio single... there is only a cover that COULD be considered "official"(but it's not!), and it's the one like "Stupid Hoe", it wasn't confirmed by Minaj!---BarbzKenz- (talk) 17:47, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Coverlandia isn't a reliable source, but some user posts fake covers to every song and says they're real!--Nikinikolananov (talk) 06:58, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Charts[edit]

Should there be some mention of the fact that Va Va Voom appeared on the Hot 100 dated Apr 21, 2012 in position 79?—GraemeMcRaetalk 07:04, 2 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have a source?--Nikinikolananov (talk) 11:07, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Potential trademark infringement lawsuit[edit]

Is it wise to use the names of certain fairytales now that Disney has somehow managed to get international wordmarks on various of them? I've had first hand experience of how scared Wikimedia is of the Litigious Mouse. Listener Sheogorath (talk) 19:16, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
