Training Squadrons?[edit]

I can get the chants and pictures of all the coins from every training squadron currently running. Are these desired? Like the 322nd is "Second to none! Come get some! Pride, character, excellence! I have hi res photos of the coins from the 319 and the 322 front and back as well as the honor graduate coin. Are these wanted? John (talk) 04:54, 7 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

USAF BMTS History Section - Locations Suggestion[edit]

The history section of the article only mentions Lackland AFB and Harlingen AFB as the two sites of BMTS. However, I am working on a new article for Brig Gen Regis Urschler who first enlisted and received his basic training at Sampson Air Force Base, Geneva, NY. Is there another citable source that can be used to list ALL of the early BMTS locations? TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 01:09, 9 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This is normally correct and should probably be adjusted, but due to the coronavirus, BMT is only 7 weeks for the foreseeable future vs the 8.5 weeks it is normally.[2] I have not see a schedule that is public as we are told the schedule is changing frequently. They've also opened up a secondary BMT site at Keesler AFB in Mississippi that takes 60 trainees per week.[3] This is currently planned as only a temporary measure due to coronavirus, but does show the possibility of supporting multiple BMT locations in the future. Unfortunately, I don't have the time needed to overhaul this page properly. --Bassmadrigal (talk) 17:14, 28 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

D/M/Y dating[edit]

Why does this article — given its American subject matter — have Template:Use dmy dates prepended to it? Is this the standard date notation in the U.S. military generally, or the USAF specifically? Thanks!SpikeToronto 17:48, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

WP:MILFORMAT specifies dmy format for U.S. military articles. Garuda28 (talk) 18:34, 26 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
