uss saratoga[edit]

good afternoon,

I'm writing about the "notable naval officers" section and the entry for Captain Moore. I am his son in law - married to one of his seven children (I also served in the same squadron as Capt Moore)

I would be interested to know why you added his name. Actually i'm sure the family would like to know. They are finding there are parts of his career that they are not familiar with and very desirous of any new info.

Not sure how this all works on Wiki but if it is easier to contact me via email: kevinmoore46@gmail.com

There is a footnote number 35 at the end of that paragraph that shows where the information came from. Footnote 35 says, "Navy Department Bureau of Naval Personnel, Washington, D.C. Records archived at the National Personnel Records Center, (Military Personnel Records), 9700 Page Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63132-5100". I suggest you can write to them for more information. In the primary article about Frederick T. Moore Jr., there is quite a write up about his activity on the Saratoga. — TadgStirkland401 (TadgTalk) 18:06, 25 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
