Reason for a separate page[edit]

This song was originally listed under Ice Ice Baby which is not logical at all as it is basically a mashup of two songs and clearly the prominent one was Under Pressure and Ice Ice Baby was in parenthesis. But since the song is distinct from either Under Pressure or Ice Ice Baby, and strictly not a cover version of either, it is much better to put it on an independent page. We will add tables as the song starts charting in UK or Ireland. For now its, correct, no need for table for chart position werldwayd (talk) 22:39, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The song is not "Ice Ice Baby", it is a mashup of two songs, which means it should be separate from both. It should have a brief mention on both articles, the section and infobox on Ice Ice Baby should be removed. Then I suggest leaving a small section in each of Under Pressure and Ice Ice Baby and leaving this as the main page for a version which is neither Under Pressure] nor Ice Ice Baby anyway. I am going ahead deleting the Under Pressure and Ice Ice Baby sections and keep this and removing the deletion notice werldwayd (talk) 19:28, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't have a section on either article, it should have a mention in a section for cover versions. But the single is not notable as it has not charted, so really I should now AFD it. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 20:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
