First line...?[edit]

A recent edit changed the quoted lyrics from " 'bout to roll all over you" to "I'm bound to roll all over you". Now, an internet lyric search has found plenty of copies of both forms, plus some other text besides! Which is the correct lyric?

On YouTube you can view several clips of James Taylor performing the song. In the ones I listened to, it sounded more like " 'bout to...", but in an Elvis version , it sounded more like "...bound to..."

So, which is it?

You'd have to find the published sheet music to get a definitive answer, I think. JT invariably gets silly when performing the song, so twists on the lyric are always possible. Wasted Time R (talk) 01:41, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
