Conflict of Interest[edit]

Please remove the banner claiming that the creator of this page has a conflict of interest. The purpose of this article is to replace the old, incorrect article. The original article claimed that WCTR is a college TV station operated by Worcester State College. This is entirely incorrect. WCTR has no affiliation with Worcester State College, rather it is a local network, located in Worcester, MA, owned and operated by Charter Communications. In addition to correcting the original article, the purpose of this article is to provide basic, neutral information about the network and the shows that broadcast on it. Information about WCTR Charter TV3 is primarily unavailable online. Please stop editing the CharterTV3 article. I don't know where you get your information from, but it is entirely false. The network has absolutely no affiliation whatsoever with Worcester State College or as you recently put it, Worcester College, which doesn't exist. The WCTR-TV.com "official website" external link that you posted at the bottom of the article is obviously not an official website. It is a .pdf file, created by Worcester State College for students applying for internships at Charter TV3. Charter TV3 is owned by Charter Communications and operates at their Worcester, Massachusetts headquarters. Your claim about the meaning of the call letters, WCTR is also entirely made up. WCTR has two meanings: "W CharTeR" and "WorCesTeR." The call letters currently are rarely used to identify the network. The claims you've made have indicated that you do not live in the Worcester area, have never watched Charter TV3 nor have ever been affiliated with Worcester State College. Call Letters[edit]

While the station has been going by the letters WCTR in the past, I can't find anything at the FCC's site that indicated that they were ever given those call letters. I don't think that the station actually broadcasts in the traditional sense; I think that it's just a cable channel that Charter runs and puts on their cables.
