Why the Julienne Taylor infobox?[edit]

I was surprised to see a Julienne Taylor infobox on this page, since she is a comparatively obscure artist, her version of the song is a cover of the more famous original, and she is not the only musician to have covered this work. As a point of comparison, the top ranked Fleetwood Mac version of this song on YouTube currently has 4,647,240 views and the top ranked Julienne Taylor cover has 1311 views. What is the justification for this cover artist to have such a prominent placement on this page?

If it is the opinion of Editors that cover versions should have prominent placement on this sort of page, why not the version that KT Tunstall played live at KCRW, which has over 16,000 views on YouTube, a full order of magnitude more views than the Taylor cover?

I intend to revisit this talk page and monitor it for updates for a while, and if I see no objections or counter arguments, I may remove the Julienne Taylor info box in its entirety in a month or two.

If there are objections or counter arguments, I'll leave it to the discretion of someone more experienced to figure out how prominently various cover versions should be featured on this page.

  • I was jarred by this as well. I moved it to the cover versions, but honestly don't think it belongs at all. -Hammersoft (talk) 18:37, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Lay me down in the tall grass and let me do my stuff"[edit]

I get the song is about rebound but, how does this prominent line fit in and what exactly is "my stuff?" BMo365 (talk) 21:48, 29 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
