Reorganization and Sectioning[edit]

Hello, I am planning on working on the fixing some structural issues for this article to look more like a typical Wikipedia page. I think adding sections will make this article more accessible and will improve its overall readability. EEcunning (talk) 15:56, 20 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Some Things I plan on changing include:
  • Sentence clarity
  • Cohesion of thought & flow
  • Sectioning to break up the different points and improve overall accessibility
  • Tone/ Neutral POV

Historical Dates[edit]

Does anyone know when you can drop the BC/AD designation for dates? The dates here are around 100 AD but it isn't very apparent if a reader is skimming. Should AD be added to any dates listed or is that unnecessary? EEcunning (talk) 15:17, 1 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Linked Biographies[edit]

Just as a note if any other editors come through here: most of the biographies linked to this article have the same problems I am trying to fix on this one. They don't have any sectioning and are ~400-500 words of just text. From one editor to another. EEcunning (talk) 02:06, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Content[edit]

I made a section titled "Family, Ancestry, and Early Life" but I am not an expert on Agrippa. If anyone can add content to this section that would be much appreciated! EEcunning (talk) 02:26, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Non-Neutral POV/ Original Research[edit]

In the last paragraph of the article, the tone seems to indicate possible original research because it is making inferences. I am considering removing or rewording to comply with Wikipedia standards for articles. If another editor wants to assist, that would be much appreciated! EEcunning (talk) 03:25, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I remover the last paragraph because it reads as original research. If someone could add a citation that would be great. Here is the removed content:
The surviving inscriptions and decrees of Agrippa reveal that he had a generous spirit, who was concerned for public safety and order in Apamea. His choice of Apollo and Marsyas at the baths reveals his gentle, witty commentary on the ambitions of the performers who competed for prizes in the Large Hall. A possible descendant of Agrippa was the usurper of the 3rd century Jotapianus.
