Membership records[edit]

Notes throughout this article mention Membership Records as a source. Based on the way this information is citated, it appears to be an unpublished source and would, therefore, falls under original research. I will hold off on removing these notes to give time for a response, in case this info is from a published source, and the citation simply needs to be improved. Whole bloody page needs an overhaul. The Legacy site is officially dead, and the new site is mostly restricted to members (as are the "membership records"). I honestly don't know why they can't put the chapter lists somewhere public, but then again I've been out of touch with the leadership at Lyrecrest for over a decade now. I'll see what I can dig up. Any chance of using archive.org?Naraht (talk) 14:15, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you're referring to the Legacy site, then no, because it was phased out in '19, meaning that even if I did find a list of provinces or chapters it will be 4-5 years out of date. Just checked, though, and only the splash page was archived (not overly surprised there).
In other words, I can update the chapter list, but it will be based on links that are only available to Sinfonians. Primefac (talk) 14:23, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-personal note[edit]

Special:Permalink/1184937989 - since currently the only way to check chapter records is numerically, and those chapter numbers have been removed from the live page, I'm posting a permalink of those numbers for my own ease of use as it drops further back in the page history. I don't have an issue with restoring the numbers. A while back in a WP discussion, we decided to keep the numbers only if they were officially used by the GLO in chapter lists. I did make the jump to delete the numbers based of lack of evidence and the need for space, but clearly that was in error. Rublamb (talk) 18:23, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Aye, no worries, that's why I didn't make a fuss about it when you removed them. Primefac (talk) 19:01, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They are back; it was a simple edit reveral. Rublamb (talk) 19:05, 5 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
