Lebanese nationality law[edit]

This article needs improvements and more citations to verify the statements included. Some of the sections create the impression that were copied from other Wikipedia nationality law articles (ex. "According to the Federal Office for Migration", as far as I know Lebanon is not a Federal state). Kcluedluigi (talk) 01:53, 7 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Law for descendants of Lebanese[edit]

First on top: "it came officially into force on 5 May 2016 during the Lebanese Diaspora Energy 2016 ceremony."^[1]

Second on bottom: "On 5 May 2015, the Gebran Bassil, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants announced during the opening ceremony of the Lebanese Diaspora Energy 2016 that the law for reattaining the lost Lebanese nationality for descendants of Lebanese origin officially came into force."^[2]

I would like someone to add more reliable additional citations to confirm when exactly this draft law became full-fledged law. (5 May 2016 or 5 May 2015 or any other day). Joneszapsin (talk) 21:16, 3 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
