No, I'm not suggesting any such thing. For a start, are you a member of any of these projects? If not, and you wish to remove the project template from the talk page, please query them as to whether they mind. I'm giving you a heads up because you'd be surprised as to how quickly you could get other editor's backs up by making unilateral decisions.
Secondly, the template is a hidden category. It doesn't show up for readers, nor does it have anything to do with the categories on the actual article's page.
Finally, don't have this discussion with me: have it with the Palestinian Project participants. I don't WP:OWN Wikipedia, and neither do you. I'm just trying to provide you with some information on how Wikipedia works. Thank you for your understanding. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 04:37, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

November 2015[edit]

Information icon Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Talk:Demographics of Lebanon does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:16, 13 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia has numerous project groups, and you'll encounter additions to projects you don't think to be relevant on hundreds of talk pages. I'd say that Wikipedia:WikiProject Palestine have nominated to add the article to their project development list due to the number of Palestinian refugees living in Lebanon. This certainly doesn't mean that they will try to develop the article with WP:UNDUE content about Palestinians living in Lebanon. What it does mean is that there will be more editors from Wikiprojects with very few participants perhaps becoming interested in developing the article properly. Checks and balances occur with editors, like myself, who are uninvolved with those projects watching the development of the article to ensure that WP:POV and WP:OFFTOPIC content is not added.
If you do object to the project's having added it to their taskforce list, you should contact the project directly and discuss your objections there. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 03:30, 14 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I see but because the country has Palestinian refugee population it doesn't mean that page Demographics of Lebanon has to focus on them as well. Do I need to add Syria and its Wikipedia:WikiProject Syria now because in the country there is a large population of Syrians in Lebanon? I do not think so. Disambiguation link notification for November 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bou Saba Family, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Britain. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open![edit]

Hello, Kcluedluigi. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
