Untitled[edit]

Ms. Peggy March's song "I Will Follow Him" is not sampled nor did it inspire rapper Eminem's song with Dr. Dre called "Guilty Conscience" as notated in the article. Eminem's song samples "Go Home Pigs" by deceased film composer Ronald Stein. In fact, his widow sued Eminem, because in the liner notes of the album containing "Guilty Conscience," Eminem notates that the sample was used with permission, but does not credit Stein, only the person who owns the publishing rights. This information can all be seen here:

I agree the songs have a similar sound, but once you hear "Go Home Pigs," then you'll realize Eminem probably has never even heard "I Will Follow Him."

This incorrect information has been removed from the article. Adamcaligne (talk) 14:09, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Open your ears. The chorus in the radio version of "Guilty Conscience" match the lyrics of the chorus of "I Will Follow Him". It's called a "lyrical interpolation".Buzda (talk) 05:07, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

In fact the beginning of the stanzas has a remarkable similitude to the beginning of Take My Breath Away.--2001:4CA0:2FFF:1:0:0:0:3B (talk) 16:19, 28 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, and entirely independently from the lyrics per se, I've always found the song's entire darkly and emphatically fatalist sound of her "destiny" rather reminiscent of the Fate Motif in Beethoven's Symphony No. 5. Both melodies sound pretty much like I imagine the Horns of Jericho. Has really no music critic within the last half century ever written about this similarity between I will follow him and Beethoven's Fate Motif? --2003:71:4E16:4B08:F09A:1B80:C50:85F0 (talk) 23:21, 5 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
