Orphaned references in I Am the Best[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of I Am the Best's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I Am the BestNaega Jeil Jal Naga – This is a Korean song with "Naega Jeil Jal Naga" on the single cover. In ictu oculi (talk) 10:29, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose per WP:UE: "In deciding whether and how to translate a foreign name into English, follow English-language usage. If there is no established English-language treatment for a name, translate it if this can be done without loss of accuracy and with greater understanding for the English-speaking reader." Translating to "I Am the Best" improves understanding for English-speaking readers.

In any event, sources do in fact use "I Am the Best": see MTV, Billboard, iTunes, AllMusic, etc. Dohn joe (talk) 14:50, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose That their music video with 100+ million views has "I Am The Best" in its title means they're okay with that translation for global marketing. -AngusWOOF (talk) 15:41, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose per WP:UE. Many K-pop songs have official English-language titles, including this one. --Random86 (talk) 19:22, 30 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Impact 89fm list in Reception section[edit]

Can someone explain how or why a college radio station listicle placement is notable enough to be included? Surely that's a mistake and should have been removed? -- Carlobunnie (talk) 23:07, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

100% agree, not notable. Evaders99 (talk) 23:18, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I'm removing it then. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 23:45, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

iTunes refs[edit]

@Nkon21: looking at the refs for the tracklist +rel history sections you might wanna update the iTunes store links to Apple Music ones instead and change the publisher to say AM instead. We're not supposed to use itunes links (I've been guilty of this myself in the past). I noticed you linked the tracklist ref to the Dec 10, 2014 date in the Rel Hist table but the ref doesn't support this (it says "released June 24, 2011). You'll need to find a diff ref but idk what replacement could work otherwise I'd have changed it myself. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 02:06, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Carlobunnie, Ok. Someone else from 2016 added that and I just simply left it is. I'll see if I can find another source. ɴᴋᴏɴ21 ❯❯❯ talk 21:06, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comm perf section[edit]

This part: "...with a total of 121 weeks..." is unsourced. The EconoTimes ref does not mention the # of wks for either song. Idk if the Forbes article that it cites as the source of its info mentioned the 121, but if there is no available source to support this part then that should be removed. -- Carlobunnie (talk) 20:12, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
