According to his death certificate (scotlandspeople)Forsyth had been born in Jamaica in 1801 - son of James Forsyth of Leighfield in St George. On the certificate he is described as "of Glengorm" but the place of death is given as Sorne (sic) house. He had sold Duchan house near Oban, a late 1820s building designed by WL Burn, in 1860 - presumably to help pay for Glengorm Castle. 94.193.114.139 (talk) 09:51, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Glengorm vs Glengorm Castle[edit]

recently, Glengorm has outgrown the castle by quite a lot, and now the settlement has an estimated population of 50, which i think (for a mull page) warrants its own page as its own settlement seperate from the castle Clydiee (talk) 21:31, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
