Fair use rationale for Image:Funky Cold Medina.jpg[edit]

Image:Funky Cold Medina.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

leather pants?[edit]

Can we add a section about how good this fella looks in leather pants? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.148.149.21 (talk) 05:58, 14 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

references to transgendered woman[edit]

Undid change from 'transgendered woman' to 'transvestite'. Transvestite is an old, rather offensive, medical term for a crossdresser. It's inappropriate to use abusive language in an article, and it's inaccurate (it's clear from the lyrics that she's transgendered, if she's picking up a guy she's probably not a crossdresser but we really don't know). Instrument featured?[edit]

Throughout the official Funky Cold Medina video is featured an 'instrument' made of a turntable, guitar neck, and many knobs. Please add a section identifying and describing it. Theaternearyou (talk) 18:22, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Predatory behaviour[edit]

Made a little tweak to include the rape-y aspects of the songs lyrics. Despite the humorous failures in selecting an appropriate target the songs repeated advice to secretly add the compound to a victim's drink is considered criminal behaviour in most of the western world. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.165.173.14 (talk) 03:40, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It might be interesting to know if that is indeed "rape-y". If one were to secret oysters into a meal or something else that makes sex sound better, but doesn't intoxicate or hinder someone's ability to decide for themselves, is it illegal? Let's stick with predatory. At least it was served funky and chilled. Spawn777 (talk) 18:49, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

How can the song be referenced in the Public Enemy album?[edit]

How can Flavor Flav's references on Public Enemy's "It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold us Back" (1988) be inspired by the song which came out a year later? Spawn777 (talk) 18:51, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Was the release date 18 or 21 March?[edit]

Two dates on the page. Which is right? — Preceding unsigned comment added by NonStopFairy (talkcontribs) 19:06, 3 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
