I don't know if this should be added to the wiki, but it seems that the WWE sees Jericho's victory as two seperate reigns: one as a WWE title reign, and one as a Undisputed title reign. Basically, imagine that when he won the World (WCW) Title a second time, it was a few weeks earlier. Then they announced a unification match, and Jericho wins the WWF title, unifying the two. I have not made any changes, but i disagree with the assertion that he is a four-time champion. For certain, he is a 2-time WCW Champion, a 1-time Undisputed Champion, and a 1-time World Heavyweight Champion. But I don't believe that if you hold one world title and win another, you can become MORE of a heavywieght champion or a heavyweight champion again. He had one world title, then won another, but he remained a world title holder the entire time, thus one title reign. Unification should not be viewed two seperate reigns. The Undertaker

Jericho did'nt have a rivalry with Undertaker this much not only at the Wrestlemania event, but also during his career in the WWE. Mistakes/Omissions

In the initial paragraph it says Jericho 'became the WWF Undisputed Championship'. Also, there is no mention of his participation in the first elimination chamber match in the 2001/02 section, a match best remembered for Jericho's performance. The previous point about trimming nicknames to those he actually went by for a sustained period i.e. more than two promos (Man of 1004 holds) is valid and unresolved. And in terms of the championship reigns and beating Austin, it did make him more of a champion as it unified the two major titles that had always been separate. Also, as a major title won it should be included as Jericho winning the WWF title, as he had won the WCW belt earlier in the evening, as well as consequently earning a unique championship status into the bargain. 2fletch (talk) 19:16, 13 January 2009 (UTC) are you morons? Last December, Chris Jericho stated in an interview that WWE Magazine named him 2008 Jerk of The Year. No, Jericho performs a Double Knee Facebreaker which he calls the "Codebreaker". There is a single knee variation, but its primarily used as a double knee move. I've never seen him perform the manuever using a single knee. Satyrquaze (talk) 17:12, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

There's one set of pictures of them partying, theres nothing in those pictures that would give the impression that they are doing anything other than hanging out at this point. I think there's one pic of them kissing, but it barely amounts to lip pressing. There's also the fact that Kelly Kelly's ex (Andrew "Test" Martin) just recently passed away who was also a good friend of Jericho's. maybe they just both needed to go out and celebrate their friend. Undisputed champion

From the intro: "His first reign as WWF Champion and his second reign as WCW Champion (then known as the World Championship) together make him the first Undisputed Champion in history." Surely he's the first Undisputed Champion since Lou Thesz when promotions began to declare their own world championships? Theme Name

His theme is called 'Break the Walls Down'. On both Raw Greatest Hits the Music and WWE the Music Volume 8 it's called 'Break the Walls Down'. Those themes are different than his current theme, but his current theme's just a remix of them. Y2J The Evil Twin (talk) 10:07, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

Tag Titles

WWE.com lists the Jericho/Show tag team title reign as having started on 7-26-09. They consider it as a new reign, separate from Jericho/Edge. In other words, Jericho/Show is a different team than Jericho/Edge, so once Show was announced as the new partner, the Jericho/Edge reign ended, and the Jericho/Show reign began. The TAG TEAM reign is separate (meaning WWE doesn't consider all 3 to be the same team). As I presented evidence at WT:PW, WWE considers Jericho's reign to be continuous. He never lost the title or was stripped of it, he just picked who would replace Edge. TJ Spyke 06:00, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Actually, WWE counts it as a separate reign. Remember when Cody Rhodes betrayed Hardcore Holly and "rewon" the title with Ted DiBiase at Night of Champions 2008? Trainers

According to Jericho's book, he wasn't trained by Stu Hart at all. Keith Hart was only there for a few minutes according to Jericho and just stiffed and stretched him. So why are the Hart's listed as his trainers? Of all the things Jericho does outside of the ring, I doubt this documentary is the most visible and the one that should be put in the introduction to the article. Orphaned references in Chris Jericho

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Chris Jericho's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Is there any possible way to get the massive amounts of detailed match descriptions, weekly match results, etc., under control in this article? "Face Turn"

I edited the article the other day because what people are considering to be a "face turn" really isn't. Yes, The Nexus are heels and yes, they attacked heel wrestlers like Chris Jericho and Edge, but that doesn't automatically make them babyfaces. The whole angle is about heels and faces setting their differences aside long enough to take on a common enemy because no one is safe from The Nexus while they're around, regardless of what their current alignment may be. vDub (talk) 06:27, 21 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm inclined to agree. There have been plenty of times when heels align themselves with faces for their own benefit. It may hint at a turn, but most times it does not count as a true turn. Article length

I feel as though this article may be too long. It's my understanding that week by week synopses should not be added to articles of Professional wrestlers. It seems like, especially with the most recent events, that's happened quite a lot and the current section 'Championship Reigns (2008-present)' is an incredibly large wall of text that can be trimmed and edited. I noticed that Bruno Sammartino has a 'backstage incidents' section on his page. While Jericho's history of backstage incidents is nowhere near the level that Sammartino's is, maybe a footnote mentioning his infamous altercations with Bill Goldberg and other wrestlers. Bulldog Bob Brown

When Jericho was interviewed by the Score's Arda Ocal he seems to have a response to some inside joke regarding a wrestler by this name. A quick look shows us that Bob Brown (wrestler) who did go by "Bulldog" was a member of Stampede wrestling. While this man died a while ago in 1997, since Jericho started at Stampede in 89 that gives us up to an 8 year window where the two might have met. If anyone is interested in the interview clips they are this recent one and this longer one from last month. Does anyone know more details about the relationship between the Lion and "Triple B" and would it be relevant to include this in the article? I would add it but I'm just editing by IP atm and this is semi-protected plus I want to make sure it is notable. At least I think so...I can't find any references to Facebook or a 'Chris Jericho' Facebook account in the article (unless maybe I missed it). The Official page and Fozzy page are already in the article.
Also, the Request template states: This template may only be used when followed by a specific description of the request, that is, specific text that should be removed and a verbatim copy of the text that should replace it. "Please change X" is not acceptable and will be rejected; the request must be of the form "please change X to Y".

Finishing Moves

I think the Walls of Jericho and the Liontamer should be listed seperately, not as a job lot. Not only is the 'Liontamer' not the original name for the 'Walls of Jericho', but they are distinctly different; their set up and application is different. Also, it should be noted that the 'Liontamer' was used extensively in WCW during Jericho's 'Cruiserweight' days but not as much in WWE.
