Grammatical errors in the lyrics[edit]

I think it would be worthy to note, for this song, that the lyrics feature more than one major grammatical error.

Examples:

"I believe that you and me last forever" (Correctly it would be "I believe that you and I will last forever.")

"The only time I feel all right is by your side" (Correctly it would be either "The only place I feel all right is by your side," or, "The only time I feel all right is when I'm by your side.")

While many rock songs have grammatical errors in the lyrics, they're typically colloquialisms. However, the errors in this song surpass the normal, as they are neither conversational nor conventional to my knowledge, and are almost certainly intentional. Unfortunately, I don't know of a reference on the subject. Does anyone have some information on this? --Verminjerky (talk) 07:16, 28 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed Merge[edit]

I've proposed the merge as it seems to me these are two articles on the same song. The information given conflicts but the album The Kinks would suggest that 1964 is accurate. - JVG 07:32, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This may be useful... - JVG 07:37, 9 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes they should be merged. Bluewave 12:09, 27 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kinks AllDay.jpg[edit]

Image:Kinks AllDay.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
