Sistan Rural District (Persian: دهستان سيستان)[3] is in Sistan District of Kuhpayeh County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Sejzi.[5]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kuhpayeh District of Isfahan County) was 1,248 in 344 households.[6] There were 1,437 inhabitants in 432 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 1,076 in 312 households. The most populous of its 44 villages was Vartun, with 576 people.[2]

In 2021, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Kuhpayeh County, which was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with the city of Kuhpayeh as its capital.[4]
