Needle in they Hay by Elliott Smith[edit]

Why is this song on this page? It's clearly a song about drug addiction not suicide. It was used in a suicide scene in The Royal Tenenbaums, which Elliott was reportedly unhappy about. There are other songs in his discography which would be more appropriate for this page.

I think u should ad the song Spring by Rammstein..

I do not understand that: There once was an article that listed songs with the subject suicide. It seems to be gone (at least I cannot find it) and I don't know why. Now I find this category but at least some content from the mentioned list is not in there. If someone thought that a category is better than an article, why didn't she/he move the article's content to the category before removing the article? --MrWiseGuy 14:01, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The old article for this topic can be found backed up here. --24.91.41.139 16:56, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Seasons in the Sun??[edit]

There is nothing in the lyrical content of this song which suggests suicide to me: I suspect its association with suicide stems primarily from the Nirvana cover, since vocalist Kurt Cobain later committed suicide. The English language versions of the song itself appear to depict a protagonist who is dying but doesn't want to. Is there some other background I don't know about? Flyleaf??[edit]
