Is this page necessary?[edit]

Well, I think that it is a bit much for a newer user to go to the project talk, where the discussions aren't purely focused on the drive. Extend to September Proposal[edit]

What do you think? Is it possible to extend the The August Drive to a two-month effort until the end of September? I think that August is a terrible month for a drive. I will be of little help, but maybe that's just my problem. Cheers. –pjoef (talk • contribs) 09:34, 29 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sure GOCE will be having a September drive so that might make it difficult. In addition, it is hard for some people to participate in a one month drive, a 2 month drive would probably cause them to lose interest. We would also need to rework all of the awards.
