Copy edits should be checked during this blitz[edit]

It would be helpful for all completed Requests to be reviewed by experienced copy editors during this blitz. I include my own copy edits in the definition of "all"; I make mistakes just like anyone else. – Jonesey95 (talk) 18:57, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Feel free to do so, Jonesey, but I don't want an overemphasis on "quality control" to drive copyeditors away (as I believe it has in the recent past). If problems arise they have to be dealt with, of course, but I'm not comfortable with the whole incompetent-until-proven-competent mindset. There are usually several acceptable ways to cast a sentence. All the best, Miniapolis 22:41, 21 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Drive closed[edit]

This blitz started with 50 requests in the queue. Five were added during the drive. We edited 13 requested articles during the blitz. Nice work, everyone. – Jonesey95 (talk) 00:19, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
