variations[edit]

I think that this page should have variations of these templates to where it doesn't just display these animals as favorites, but rather also likes and interests in these animals. What I mean is I would love to see templates of all of these animals here on this page saying I like them instead of them saying they're my favorite.

Also I would like to see the Animal Interest User Boxes that are listed on the Wikipedia:Userboxes/Interests page to be moved here to this page because it would be better fitting here. Sawblade05 10:12, 9 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There isn't any Aussie animals :(, with the exception of the GWS. Perhaps you could make some? I'm quite happy to discuss this.

i agree, barncat.... we need horses, I was wondering the same thing! I especially LOVE white Arabians! We really need a horse box, .... a unicorn one would be good too.

I created a new UBX. How do I create the code for it and get it "approved?" Here's the code:

That looks fine. There is no "approval process. As long as it doesn't break any rules (and that one doesn't) then you just have to create a page to put it on, such as User:Unibrow1994/LeopardGecko and then transclude it to the appropriate page, such as Wikipedia:Userboxes/Animals. Then you can put it on your user page and perhaps other people will put it on their user pages as well, once they have seen it. Let me know here if you need help with that. Thanks alot. If you wouldn't mind could you make the box red (rather than plain white) and if possible could you use either this picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Live_giant_squid_first_image.jpg or this picture http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Giant_squid_melb_aquarium03.jpg? Those imagea of the Giant Squid are in colour and looks more appealing than the black and white image. Say Ahunt. I don't mean to bug you again but I was curious if you could do one more. I'm a huge fan of Cephalopods. When it comes to Cephalopods there is what is known as the big four. Octopus, Squid, Cuttlefish, and Nautilus. I noticed there isn't a Nautilus box. I was thinking if it was possible you could create one. I think the pic of the Nautilus on the top of its wiki-page is pretty sharp and maybe the color of the box could be dark blue. The background of the pic is light blue and I think the double blue combo would give it a nice nautical feel. What do you say?Giantdevilfish (talk) 01:08, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well since you like doing them then maybe one more. {last one I promise;-)}. As much as I love cephalopods, I also adore sea monsters. In particular The Kraken. Is it possible to make a box about the Kraken? Being a fictional animal like a Dragon, I don't know exactly where you could put it on the main page. If possible I'd like the box to read "this users favourite Cryptid is The Kraken". Say would it be OK if you did another? How's about the Colossal squid? I was thinking "This user wishes he could have a Colossal squid as a pet". How is this? I tried some red fonts, but on the dark blue background they were very hard to read, so I went with a lighter red colour. Let me know if you want changes.

Not all userboxes are showing[edit]
