When will I get a message?[edit]

When will I get a message from the survey that eMails the results of the survey, or some kind of confirmation that I did the survey, from wikipedia, because I still have not got any messages in my inbox, and I did the survey a couple of days ago know. mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 15:18, 31 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Can I see the report? for how the result will be published. No email is sent to confirm the completion of the survey. If you had reached the "Thank you!" page, it is completed. --Shuhari (talk) 02:44, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I get It

Oh I get it. I thought they would eMail me the results of the test, I never knew you have to wait 8 weeks. mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 16:27, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's been longer than 8 weeks and I do not have a reply in my inbox. What's wrong?! mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 17:47, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No joy on why it has been longer then 8 weeks since the results were meant to be eMailed and no joy on wether or not there is a problem? As soon as anyone has any joy, give us a bell asap. mcjakeqcool Mcjakeqcool (talk) 19:37, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Still no joy? When ever there is joy, give us a bell asap. 217.204.11.196 (talk) 16:00, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Preliminary results[edit]

FYI, there was a post on the Wikimedia blog on 16 April, 2009 about the first preliminary results of the survey, and the 20 April Signpost mentioned it. --Pixelface (talk) 02:31, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And here is the File: page for it, and a HTML copy from Yahoo. We should wikify it for ease of reading... 75.215.35.126 (talk) (really, User:JesseW/not logged in) 21:08, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Poor design[edit]

The preliminary report is available online at [1]. This survey is ridiculous. All participants are self-selected, which: (1) removes it from a stochastic effect which permits statistical inferences such as error bounds and significance tests[2], (2) response bias is immeasurable, and (3) the data potmarked with frivolous inconsistencies which can only be adequately explain by the survey's initial poorly planned design. I am asking that this survey and future surveys with similar designs be dismissed. ChyranandChloe (talk) 22:07, 17 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2009 survey[edit]

So are there any news about the 2009 survey? It is high time to start discussing it; in particular, what we have learned from the 2008 one and how to make new surveys better. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 16:49, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
