    • I don't think so. 63.200.164.30 is the actual vandal, replacing article graphics with an obscene webcam capture. Above complaint is about a revert back to actual content. 63.200.164.30 has an apparent history of vandalism, and most recent few "contributions" were all the same lame vandalism. It looks like he's also beginning to deface user pages of those how have reverted him, so I guess I should expect a visit shortly. Lucky me. Jackie Chan's autobiography, "I Am Jackie Chan, My Life In Action", states that he got married in L.A. in 1983 and that Jaycee, [named "Jackson" in the book ], was born a year later in 1984. Pages 313 and 314 of the paperback version.

Why the cover up of the marriage and birth date ? A theory is because he wanted to cover up the fact that he was only married for 2 days before Jaycee was born.

I have notified Jackie Chan's official site with a very ugent request that Jackie himself state the exact dates of his marriage and birth of his son so that it can no longer be disputed on the internet.

In the meantime, PLEASE do NOT edit Jaycee Chan's biography to add that he was born out of wedlock. That is INCORRECT information and does NOT belong on a mini biography !! It only causes controversy and is mean spirited.

I feel if the edits were not so prominent in the article, and were more closely linked to the books, it actually would be helpful. The IP continues to made small numbers of odd edits (mostly changing text and text deletions) to articles related to the English language and other languages. I've cleaned up the edits today that seemed to be obvious vandalism, but someone more knowledgable about the history of the English language than me needs to check some of the other pages (someone who will know that changing Old Saxon to Old Anglosaxon is wrong, for example). It certainly looks like a content dispute to me. Looks like there are a couple of things going on, but one of them is Fwdixon (talk • contribs) is pushing to add/retain external links that s/he (and User:4.236.54.116) added to web pages also listed on User:Fwdixon. I have added links to several other Tom Swift websites (including my own), RMedford keeps removing all links and other changes I have made. Are not links a valuable part of WIKI? Additionally, as a weird cyberstalker revenge he makes removes only links to my site from the Hardy Boys page which I have extensively updated. This doesn't seem right to me.

Repeatedly vandalized Magyars by an user that intends to impose HIS own viewpoint, discarding any other, probably moved by political interests. This person denies the most credited researches about Hungarian origins in order to support the theory invented by Hungary's political enemies. He continuoulsy alters the content regarding the Huns and replaces it with the Ugro-Finnic theory.

            • The main issue has been Mike Garcia, who has consistently been acting like he owns the article and being really nasty to anybody who changes anything any way he doesn't like. He's caused the article to be protected several times (including now) to stop the edit wars which are mostly his fault. His behavior tends to tick people off, whether he's right or wrong on a particular issue... in this particular case, I'm actually the one who wrote the piece of text that Garcia is defending against somebody who is deleting it, but I still don't like his behavior. Under this IP, I see only one removal in material from talk:Christina Aguilera, and many reasonable-looking edits since, until they stopped editing a few hours ago. Please remove the user Bijee or at least talk to him. I have run into him on numerous occasions on articles related to Indian and Chinese history and martial arts history. I have a Ph.D in history and his corrections to the articles are outright fabrications. He has changed the kalaripayattu article multiple times to reflect his point of view (South Indian) and is fabricating history. When asked in the discussion section to back up his history viewpoints he does not reply with any serious remarks. The user has changed articles to my knowledge relating to : tea (states the word is indoaryan), chinese chess (states that it came from chatarunga), acupuncture (states that India had acupuncture), Buddhism (states that it is from India and not Nepal), and kalaripayattu (states that it is the origin of all martial arts and that Bodhidharma was a kalaripayattu practioner who mastered the northern and southern styles in India) . I have run into similar individuals like him in conferences. Usually they are followers of a quasi-political organization called Hindutva and unfortunately are extremely biased in their views of India and its role in history. Kennethtennyson

On Xiangqi his vandalism was first reverted by author User:Gwalla I only repeated the same. I am not an expert on Tea, Kalaripayattu, Origins of chess or Xiangqi, but when followed his edits I found his edits made a big change in article without any discuss on the Talk pages, so I revered it back. If he is interested in discussion he could do that with other authors on those topics.

Lothar is a fictional robot in the Metabarons universe. He is presented firstly being in service of the Metabaron (the Nameless), who asks Tonto to narrate to him of his master's history. Tonto who has been served the Metabarons for decades, unlike Lothar who is relatively new in the Metabaron's ownership, tells the saga to him, being thus the main narrator of the comic book series.

During the main story (outside of the narative), Lothar loses his body and a new one is constructed for him. It is revealed in the process that he in fact is Steelhead, the Metabaron's grandfather, who returned to reclaim his office. The Metabaron however managed to erase his memory and transform him into a robot, serving him.

He has also added false entries for their movies in several lists of movies. I have been tracking this user, and his logins all seem to come from IPs in South New Jersey.       • Wikipedia's official guidelines dictate that we assume good faith. This guideline also explicitly directs editors to do so when it can be reasonably inferred "that something is a well-intentioned error," enjoining then against simply labelling such incidents as vandalism, which Willmcw did on the Eric Foner article. Based upon his comment above and elsewhere, including his own talk page, it appears to me that Poetatoe has a difference with Willmcw over the content of this article, in which case the proper good faith response would have been to invite him to discuss this difference at Talk:Eric Foner (and indeed I hope that he will do so as I am interested in what he has to say). Furthermore, I am not aware that User:Willmcw has the authority to issue "warnings" against other editors and in following Poetatoe around Wikipedia, as also appears to have occurred, he has behaved contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia:Don't_bite_the_newcomers, prompting Poetatoe to respond with a not-so-far-fetched allegation of stalking. In the interest of full disclosure, I have had similar problems of my own with this same editor's lack of the good faith assumption and behavior towards me that could be described as wiki-stalking of my edits, thus I can sympathize with Poetatoe's rather rude welcoming to wikipedia given by this same editor and hope that the latter will take a moment to remind himself that we operate on good faith assumptions around here absent legitimate cause for doubt. A user with IP 219.93.174.109 has just done the same thing. And, not surprisingly, that IP resolves to Kuala Lumpur. I think this is the same guy. And on June 12, the same thing happened from IP 218.111.168.6, which resolves to Selayang Jaya, which is not far from Kuala Lumpur.   • Created the Wikipedia is Evil article, an attack page against Wikipedia, and has been attacking its VfD, saying that all of the votes people are putting on it are "not a valid reason to (delete|keep|redirect|...), and putting a listing at the top (above the original lister's) saying that none of the 13 votes cast were "technically valid". His user page also has a heading which says "post your vandalism here".     • My user page was designed after looking at another administrator's page, who had a "please post your vandalism below" section. It is intended as a joke. I did create the Wikipedia is Evil article, but it is not necessarily any more of an attack against Wikipedia than the "Wikipedia Sucks" article. As for the VfD, I was offering a disclaimer on it because people were simply listing "delete: dumb" and so on, with no discussion which goes against a Wikipedia policy, which states: "Wikipedia is not an experiment in democracy. Its primary method of finding consensus is discussion, not voting. That is, majority opinion does not necessarily rule in Wikipedia. Various votes are regularly conducted, but their numerical results are usually only one of several means of making a decision. The discussions that accompany the voting processes are crucial means of reaching consensus. For example, a very important Wikipedia process is reaching consensus on what articles are not encyclopedic and should be deleted from Wikipedia entirely. The discussion by which that consensus is reached occurs in the context of a "vote" on the Wikipedia:Votes for deletion page. That page is slightly misnamed since the discussion is more important than the actual voting." I hope this clears things up.

He was basically a jerk about my attempts to wikify the article. So then I put the article up for a vfd. In retaliation, he literally put a wikify tag on every article I've ever written. Eventually, it was decided to make it a transwiki...this after Richard literally deleted the vfd tag several times while it was up for a vote. He was warned several times by RickK to stop doing this. Anyway, it was made into a interwiki link to Wikibooks, which is where I had moved the article. Well several weeks ago, Dmcdevit put the vote up for a speedy delete. At first, I removed the tag and then Dmcdevit put it up for speedy delete again. Well I tried to remove it again but by the time I got to it, the article was gone. 2 days later (today), Richard (using the anon IP of 24.9.112.127, which he had used before) completely recreated the article verbatim. I'm asking that that IP and Richard himself be permanently banned. A notice was also put on the Administrators' incidents page. This is the third time he has tried to recreate this article and I just think he's a nuisance and needs to be banned forever. We've tried warning him several times.         • Dirty as in malicious, tricky, even. They look like they may be innocent testing, but if you examine them closely...changing to "green" makes a statement further down incorrect ("will be rendered in red on a white background") / adding "the" changes the entire meaning of the line, making it incorrect. If that's not enough, I think the John Milton edits make it obvious (replacing a section with "kl;hkljfjgfjghjghjghj", etc.). Reisio 07:07, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Sorry. I would call this false accusation by User:Ted Wilkes an abuse of the Wikipedia guidelines, as this user repeatedly deleted passages I have written in articles and on discussion pages, which were not in line with his personal opinion. This is indeed vandalism. This user's accusations are made for mistaken reasons. See Talk:David Bret, Talk:Nick Adams and Talk:Elvis Presley. Ted Wilkes must be identical with users NightCrawler and JillandJack who are, or repeatedly were, under a Wikipedia hard ban. See User:DW.

They've been putting bogus keep votes on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Chris labosky and probably some other VfD's. They've also got several vanity pages in their recent contributions. 152.163.100.197 has blanked the Wikipedia:Community Portal (and put several other malicious edits on it, for example [138]), and several edits of theirs on Jesus have been reverted.     • Update. He seems to now have registered an account at User:Runner06. One of the associated sockpuppets wrote an article called [[Wikipedia Authoritarianism], a strongly POV rant against Wikipedia for the deletion of the Chris labosky article, on which several people (including me) have voted for a speedy delete. 217.137.0.0 to 217.137.249.255 is the range of IP addresses used by NTL dial-up in the UK. 217.137.107.8 is NTL Norwich. 217.137.87.4, 217.137.87.12, and 217.137.87.68 are NTL Colchester. 62.253.32.5 is NTL Northampton.
