What kind of response do you want now?

Of course the new page review process needs reform. I suppose what is proposed on this page will make it better. It is hard for me to imagine everything being described here. Is anyone wanting a particular response now, or should be just be aware that a new system will come out soon for testing? More like 20 days :). We're still getting a firm timetable together, but programming will start as soon as. In the meantime, it would be great if you could leave any feedback you have at Wikipedia talk:New Page Triage, where a few preliminary ideas are being discussed. Congested Venues

Re: "Our appeals for feedback are normally in congested venues where they can easily be missed by editors", this is a very real problem. I have tried putting some of the high-volume noticeboards on my watchlist, and found it to be very much like drinking out of a firehose, so I stop watching the page. As an example, I recently posted a question about Plummer v. State (of Indiana) on Wikipedia:Notability/Noticeboard, and every day I have to check it manually for a response because of the high volume.

Discussions on other wikis are even worse; I cannot put those on my watchlist even if I want to. The developers could fix both of those problems. First, they could make it so that I can watch a page on another Wiki from my English Wikipedia watchlist, second, they could make it so that I can watch just a section of a page (with an option to see or not see new sections), but until that happens, you need to figure out a way that I can see any new appeals for feedback from the developers on my watchlist, and to make it so that have the choice of seeing or not seeing comments posted in response to previous appeals for feedback. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:27, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

We've actually got both those things on the table :). There are plans to introduce a "global watchlist" for notifications, and hopefully a complete rewrite of liquidthreads that would allow for section-by-section watching. Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 18:05, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
