Frivolous[edit]

This is a frivolous case created by an editor with an admitted conflict of interest, who seemingly will only be happy if the article named Robert Coulter is the one about his non-notable employer, and any other Robert Coulters are at a different location. Rather than create an article at say Robert Coulter (organ maker), User:Tuben has repeatedly moved and disrupted the existing article as much as possible, as there are two Robert Coulters one of which is his boss which he states here.

The original Robert Coulter article was created on 24 January, as I have had the deleted page temporarily restored here. User:Tuben edited the existing article on 7 February and changed it from an article about the politician to an article about his employer, then performed a copy and paste move to Rev Dr Robert Coulter as can be seen by this diff. This clearly should not have happened as it's against the manual of style on naming conventions, and also causes GDFL problems. It should also be noted that he didn't even add an {{otherpersons}} link or anything from his Robert Coulter to the politician's article.

His Robert Coulter was speedy deleted as NN on 11 February, after being moved from Robert Coulter to Robert I. Coulter.

Since then he's blanked the page of the other Robert Coulter, and on two occasions changed the article to his Robert Coulter.

He's then decided that his Robert Coulter should be at Robert Coulter and moved the other article accordingly, but hasn't created an article for his Robert Coulter yet.

I brought this up at ANI and the politican Robert Coulter was rightfully moved back to the correct place and the redirects created during all the moves deleted, and an endorsement was made regarding the non-notability of the organ maker. I didn't even move the page back, it was moved by administrator JzG.

User:Tuben is welcome to create an article at say Robert Coulter (organ maker) but has repeatedly chosen not to do so, repeatedly moving the existing article to a variety of different names so that his article can be placed at Robert Coulter. I suppose we should be thankful that his boss isn't called Elvis Presley, as no doubt the existing article would have been moved to Elvis Presley (singer) or something similar to make room for his boss.

His claim that he created the page about his boss and it was then edited to be about a politician is clearly false as can be seen by the history of the deleted page here, the article about the politician was there first. He left a message on my talk page stating he would continue to disrupt the article, I took that to mean in terms of either moving or editing the existing article, so I left a polite message on his talk page.

It should also be noted that various versions of his Robert Coulter article are nothing more than a copy and paste of Coulter's biog from his own site. One Night In Hackney303 15:50, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
