In addition to edit-a-thons, AfroCreative WikiProject +film will host a series of drives in between campaigns. Drives will revolve around a specific activity and are intended to sustain engagement among our community of editors and ensure that African film and television content on Wikipedia and its sister projects such as Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, and Wikiquote is continuously enhanced.

Below is a list of planned drives. Watch this space in June to see our initial calendar.

Improving Stubs drive. Graduating stubs to Start Class or more and de-stubbing African film and television. “Add a caption” drive. Adding captions to film and television-related images using ISA tool; a tool that enables the adding of captions and metadata to images. “Say-it-right” drive. Adding short audio recordings of correct pronunciations. Eliminate Advisory Notices drive. Fixing issues that have resulted in advisory notices. Notable Quotes drive. Documenting quotes from African films and TV on Wikipedia.
