Worcester Museum is situated on R62,portrays farming life through live demonstrations and exhibitions. Rural trades, crafts and domestic activities like processing tobacco, making soap and candles, milling and baking are demonstrated. Grapes and deciduous fruits are distilled to make traditional spirits and liqueurs.

Worcester museum portrays farming life through live demonstrations and exhibitions.Worcester Museum is found in the Breede River Valley region and was inhabited by indigenous hunter gathers and pastoralist and later by trekker farmers who played a big role in introducing commerce and commercial changes.

The baking of the bread and milk tart are demonstrated.

  • Soap Making

Soap and candles are made of beef fat. To different types of soap are made, white soap for stain removel and blue soap for whitening.
