About the editathon[edit]

On Saturday 12 November, the Centre for the History of the Gothic (University of Sheffield) in partnership with the University Library presents a Gothic edit-a-thon, in conjunction with the University of Edinburgh and Wikimedia who are running a dual, Robert Louis Stevenson themed Edit-A-Thon in Edinburgh.

Programme[edit]

  • 10.00: Welcome
  • 10.30-11.30: Frances Babbage, ‘Staging Carter’s Gothic’
  • 11.30-12.00: Andy Smith, ‘The Centre for the Gothic’, Peter Barr, ‘Library Resources', Lauren Nixon '(tbc)'
  • 12.00-12.30: Lunch
  • 12.45-5.00: Training and Editing

Trainers[edit]

Delphine Dallison - Delphine has been a Wikimedia UK volunteer since 2013 and became a Wikimedia UK certified trainer in 2014. The training for today's editathon was prepared in collaboration with Ewan McAndrew, Wikimedian in Residence at the University of Edinburgh.
