Voyage: Inspired by Jules Verne[edit]

I will be honest with you. My hope is to get my article to feature article standard, and I know there is a long way to go. I need help with several aspects of my article. People have criticized it for not having enough references and for pictures not complying with fair use or something. I'm having trouble understanding all of this. also, please read the article and tell me what you think is wrong with it. i have slaved over this thing for a year now, and i have decided that now is the time to shape up or ship out. i intend this to become a feature article, and i am calling on you to help me do this. --Paaerduag 12:31, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Making a featured article is a very good goal. I'd suggest you start with the easier tasks: Check the links in the article and fix those that lead to redirects or disambiguation pages. Then add fair use rationale to the images in the articles. A larger task will be rewriting parts of the article to shift some of the focus from the game world to the real world. Take a look at these featured articles: The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and Donkey Kong (arcade game). Each has a fairly sizable section or sections about development, history, reviews, or other real-world impact. The same sections are also referenced in those articles, another featured article criterion, and a rather important one.
I hope by "ship out" you don't mean leave Wikipedia. FAC is a harsh place, don't let it ruin your experience here. You can always ask me or other members of the CVG WikiProject for help if you need. Pagrashtak 17:04, 31 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
