Theme: From Latin America to Hollywood: Latino Film Culture in Los Angeles 1967-2017.

As part of the Academy’s programs for Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA, participants in this event will help create new Wikipedia entries related to Latin American filmmakers and their films, and update existing records. Training sessions and work lists will be provided. Resources from the Academy’s collections as well as reference librarians will be available to assist the process. The event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please RSVP HERE.



What: Wikipedia Edit-a-Thon Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA

When: Saturday, November 4 from 11am–4pm. Training sessions begin at 11:15.

Where: Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Margaret Herrick Library, 333 S. La Cienega Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90211 (map); (parking information).

What to bring: Your laptop, power adapter, and any reference materials you'd like to work from or share.
