Original – The Green lacewing fly is not really a fly (it has four wings instead of two) but an insect of the Neuroptera order, charaterized by a dense network of cross-veins in the wings. Most species, like Chrysopa sp. are carnivorous, feeding on samll insects.

  • Comment – Interesting detail. Could be cropped a bit from bottom & top (esp. bottom), as (blurry) white material, though a good backdrop, doesn't add visual info. Sca (talk) 13:29, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • OK, done as an alternative. Thanks for the suggestion. Alvesgaspar (talk) 14:07, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm afraid not, this is a large genus and exact ID is only possible by close examnination of genitalia & etc. Alvesgaspar (talk) 15:45, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
