Nice to see this nominated. This looks good but there are some things I'd like to see rectified:

  • I think you need to make a bigger deal of the rainbow jersey in the "History" section. It would be nice to have a photo of it – maybe File:Bert Grabsch 4JDD 2009.jpg or File:B Wiggins PN2015.png?
  • Two misspelt riders: Jan Ullrich and Melcior Mauri.
  • I don't see why you have plainrowheaders in the first table. It looks better to me without.

  • I suggest you use {{nowrap}} on the times.
  • I think the key could be more elegantly presented, without self-referencing links. There are also no occasions where "points" is relevant.

  • With the "most successful" tables, I suggest you need to make the cyclist and the nation respectively the row header, rather than the position.
  • You have a hyphen in the first sentence where you need an endash. I'm not sure about the phrasing of the first sentence. It feels a bit clumsy. Perhaps "The men's individual time trial at the UCI Road World Championships is organised by the world governing body of cycling, the Union Cycliste Internationale as the annual world championship for the road bicycle racing discipline of time trialling."
  • "usually flat or rolling terrain" would be better as "usually over flat or rolling terrain".
    • Bit reluctant to change as over is already in the sentence, close repetition would make it read uneasily I feel. NapHit (talk) 22:09, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
      • How about "on a course that is usually over flat or rolling terrain"?
  • "Fabian Cancellara has won the time trial the most" would be better as "Fabian Cancellara has won the time trial most times".
  • You use "fellow countryman" as a false title repeatedly. On each occasion, I think it would be better as "his fellow countryman". You also do this with nationalities (e.g. "German Bert Grabsch"). This isn't terribly elegant: "the German Bert Grabsch" would be better.
  • "Millar was won the rainbow jersey in 2003, however, he was stripped of his title a year later after being found guilty of doping." This needs to be either "2003, but" or "2003; however,".
  • "Rogers' run came to an the end the following year," This should be a colon rather than a comma.
  • "He would retain the rainbow jersey in 2012, however, the margin of victory" – again a semicolon before "however" would be better.
  • "Martin did not win the event for the fourth time in 2014, as he was twenty-six seconds adrift of winner Wiggins in second place." I feel like the emphasis is odd in this sentence, as it gives more prominence to the man in second to the winner. I suggest "Martin did not win the event for the fourth time in 2014: Bradley Wiggins achieved his first victory, with Martin twenty-six seconds adrift."
  • "In his place" I suggest "In his absence".

  • As it is, the opening sentence does not follow WP:BOLDTITLE.
  • The infobox title has "Men's Time Trial", unlike the article title.
  • All events have been held in September–October, so maybe you can specify that in the infobox date parameter? Particularly, because the WCs are not the last event of the cycling season.
  • In the discipline parameter: "time trial" → "Time trial"
  • Add the governing body's acronym after its spelled-out name, followed by a comma: "... Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), as the..."
  • Rephrasing suggestion: "Established in 1994, the event is part of the annual UCI Road World Championships, and consists of an individual time trial covering a distance of approximately 45 kilometres (28 mi)."
  • Perhaps "forthcoming season" is more adequate than "forthcoming year".
  • "Vuelta a Espana" → España
  • "Jerome Coppel" → Jérôme Coppel
  • In the winners table: "Jan Ulrich" → Ullrich.
  • USA → United States
  • Sometimes you use numerals for time periods and sometimes you use spelled-out words. Stick with one form.
  • Take care with letter case in table captions, as sometimes you have uppercased letters in common nouns.
  • In the medals per rider/nation sections, it would be better to state that riders/countries are ranked by 1) gold, 2) silver, and 3) bronze medals.
  • In the footnote: "David Millar was the winner in 2003..." and "erythropoietin" (lowercase).
  • The last section should be named only "References" (there is already "Footnotes") and should be presented with {{reflist|30em}} (column number is deprecated).

  • One last thing: uniformise the references from UCI, as some show the publisher as "Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI)" and others only have "UCI".   • "edging Rich by a minute and twelve seconds" - edging is an odd word choice, given that that was the largest winning margin to date; would fit better for the 3-second win in 1997
  • Why do you stop listing the winning margin for the 2007-2010 races, and then again for the 2013-2015 races? I don't feel that you need to list them all, but it feel strange to do it for 1994-2006 and then stop.
  • "He would retain the rainbow jersey the following year;" - sudden tense shift, this is surrounded by past tense
  • The third margin column is sorting the 1995 2:03 margin behind the 2009 2:30
  • The table has the 2003 silver margin as 0 seconds... either a mistake or you should mention it in the prose

Every source is functioning, and they all cite reliable third-party sources; this list meets the citation criteria. As for overall quality, I couldn't find any major issues, but I did find some minor issues, mostly in terms of grammar or punctuation. I managed to fix them myself despite my terminal laziness; if you want to review my edits, just pull up the page history as you wish, and notify me if I managed to throw the article into disarray (as has been known to happen with my editing).
