Hugo Award for Best Fan Artist[edit]

Back into the breach with the 12th of 14 lists. The written works, magazines, editors, movies, and professional artists are done, so we now come to the Best Fan Artist award. Like the Professional Artist award, there's no mention of what works the artists in question worked on in the eligibility year; the award is simply noted as going to such-and-such. This list is basically identical to the Professional Artist list, but shorter and with different names. I've incorporated suggestions and changes from previous nominations into this list, as usual.   • Remove "Entries with a blue background and an asterisk (*) next to the editor's name have won the award; those with a white background are the nominees on the short-list." as the box gives this info
  • I'm unwilling to drop it from this and the other 11 lists unless another editor also agrees- previous !voters have commented on the grammar of the sentence but never on its necessity (or lack thereof.) --PresN 20:00, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • The bold title being a few sentences in seems a bit weird to me, but seeing as previously-promoted FLs have this I won't make a fuss

  • "did not receive enough nominations" - maybe "received insufficient nominations"?
  • "Tim Kirk has also won 5 times, out of 8 nominations; the only other artists to win more than twice are Teddy Harvia, with 4 out of 20, Alexis A. Gilliland, with 4 out of 8, and Frank Wu, also with 4 out of 8 nominations." I think you could write all these numbers out in text...
