John Calvin[edit]

Nominator(s): Ted-m (talk)

I'm nominating this article for featured article because... It is a stable and well written page. Currently in Good article status. I'm not sure if it needs more work or not but I am hoping it will be promoted and in time for it to be featured on the Main Page on July 10 2009 which is the 500th anniversaray of his birth. If it needs more work, I'm hoping people can assist me on improving it. Please comment on what you think can be improved. Ted-m (talk) 15:39, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose - Lead is too short, several sections are unreferenced. Kaldari (talk) 15:45, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose Were the significant contributors consulted? Also, agree with the above; lead is too short, too much information unreferenced, unformatted references. This is not even good article-quality in my opinion. Gary King (talk) 16:19, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Withdrawn, please see the instructions at WP:FAC regarding consulting with significant contributors. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 19:48, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
