I'm nominating this article for featured article because... It is a stable and well written page. Currently in Good article status. I'm not sure if it needs more work or not but I am hoping it will be promoted and in time for it to be featured on the Main Page on July 10 2009 which is the 500th anniversaray of his birth. Oppose Were the significant contributors consulted? Also, agree with the above; lead is too short, too much information unreferenced, unformatted references. This is not even good article-quality in my opinion. Gary King (talk) 16:19, 29 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
