Truth Serum[edit]

Truth Serum is the debut extended play (EP) by Swedish recording artist Tove Lo. Lo independently released two singles, "Love Ballad" in October 2012, and "Habits" in March 2013. Their popularity gained the singer a record deal with Universal Records in 2013. The EP was eventually released through the label to digital retailers on 3 March 2014. Truth Serum has been described as a pop, electropop and indie pop record. According to Lo, the tracks talk about her most intense love affair, from the happy beginning of the relationship to the part when she is trying to move on after the break up. "Out of Mind" was released as the lead single on 16 October 2013 and peaked at number 39 on the Finnish Airplay Chart. On 6 December 2013, "Habits" was re-issued as "Habits (Stay High)" as the second single. It peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Lo's first song to enter the chart. "Not on Drugs" was released as the only promotional single from the extended play.

I have decided to nominate this for Good Topic. I have worked on these articles since my introduction on the English Wikipedia in late 2015, starting with "Out of Mind". All of the articles have been promoted to GA status, with the most recent being Truth Serum, which was promoted today. --Paparazzzi (talk) 06:26, 29 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I have issues with the amount of non-free content that is being used in "Habits (Stay High)" and I believe it fails WP:NFCC#3a. I would very much like to have people from WP:NFCC check that article first and then decide. —IB [ Poke ] 08:29, 29 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • What would you suggest? Besides the fact that it's basically two singles in one article, I don't really know how to reduce the amount of non-free content, at least not specifically which elements are more likely to be omitted. --Paparazzzi (talk) 03:10, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
      • I would say the music video image for the second version with the party one is the one most failing NFCC. Even the Hippie Sabotage remix File:Tove Lo Hippie Sabotage Stay High.ogg is another one I find failing the criteria since its just the remixed version of the original track. It does not enhance anything currently as the description in the composition section is sufficing along with the original sample for "Habits". —IB [ Poke ] 03:37, 30 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
        • Ok. I'm going to remove the sample of the remix, and the image of the first music video, since it was not really notable compared to the second music video. Regarding the image of the second music video, I think it would be better to change it to another that can offer a better description (maybe one of Tove kissing her friends), but I want to know if you agree with this. Besides the samples and the screenshots of the music videos, the other non-free content are the covers, and those can stay, right? Thanks for your input. Comment I removed the audio sample of the remix and the image of the first music video, in order to reduce the amount of non-free content.Paparazzzi (talk) 22:34, 28 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
