Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Annie (2014 film) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made was constructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this message from your talk page, and then make the edit again.

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Annie (2014 film). Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Please do not add original research, or change numbers without citing new references. Binksternet (talk) 17:40, 25 April 2015 (UTC) Replacing inappropriate level-3 warning message with level-1 informative message: Information icon Hello, I'm Alsee. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Alsee (talk) 02:25, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Keep up the helpful editing. The warnings up above are excessive.[edit]

At Wikipedia we sometimes have a bad habit of being too rough on new editors. We have a policy WP:Please_do_not_bite_the_newcomers, and it seems you're a bite victim. The warning templates up there were too harsh. The wiki-idea is that people can jump in and learn as you go, there's a lot to learn, and mistakes are OK because they are easy to revert.

  • I'm not sure exactly what triggered ClueBot (a software program) revert your Annie (2014 film) edit, but you made a LOT of changes in a single edit and the software detected that some bits were different than how we want articles to be. Cluebot isn't smart enough to fix just the "wrong pieces" and keep any good changes that you added. It just reverted the whole thing.
  • The blue-notice about edit warring is supposed to be important helpful rules information, but even a friendly-warning was probably a bit much when you made only a single partial revert to the Annie article, especially when you were reverting a bot, and especially when you were making a good faith effort to seek compromise. You did nothing wrong.
  • My main concern is that seriously should NOT have gotten that red-exclamation-point block-warning for a single edit to Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor. Red ! warnings are supposed to be for people who persistently and knowingly engage in disruptive behavior after being warned about it. It is particularly ironic that you got warned for adding unsourced information to that article when almost the entire article is unsourced. Here's the deal on that.... all information that gets added to articles is supposed to include a source to Verify that information. (Read the top section of that wp:verify link, and you can skim to any other parts that seems interesting.) Basically, if someone adds unsourced information, and everyone thinks it's probably right and valuable, sometimes we let it stay in the hopes that someone will improve the article and add the proper sources for it. But anyone may remove unsourced information at any time for any reason. Anyone could write anything into an article, the way we keep the encyclopedia reliable is by ensuring readers (and editors) can check that the information comes from a Reliable Source.

By the way, I saw your help request at Administrator's Noticeboard. The thing you asked about is already fixed, but if you need help in the future either ask on the article talk page or post "{{help me}}" (without quotes) on your own talk page along with your question. Some random volunteer will see the help request.

I'll add our standard Welcome template below. It contains a number of links that are really helpful for getting started. There's a huge amount of info behind those links, you can just skim to whatever parts look helpful to you. Alsee (talk) 02:11, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

LOVE AND HIP HOP[edit]

Wait, stop changing the supporting to recurring! Cast members are Main, Supporting and Guest. we have to keep to wiki rules. Supporting is after lead in traditional casting heirachy (above recurring) which is what suits the cast members who are nearly in every episode but not in the opening creidts. The Haves & the Have Nots[edit]

Sorry, I was not able to get internet access for the entire day after making that edit. I am at my spot now so I can respond to you. As for the Maggie thing, I assume she's a goner, but I'll leave your edit in for the time being. A part of me feels she's not TRULY dead, a very SMALL part of me. As for the table, I'll go ahead and try to fix that. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. - Jabrona (talk) 20:55, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected Mitch's part on the table and listed him as "recurring" in Season 3. Oh, and if you make a mistake in anything you write to me, you don't have to point it out to me. You can just edit it and then it goes unnoticed. I wouldn't even know unless I were to check through my history, haha. ;D - Jabrona (talk) 23:31, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

NeNe Leakes season 8 RHOA[edit]

Hey I noticed you have changed multiple pages regarding NeNe Leakes. Leakes returned to The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 8 as a guest star and not as friend/recurring capacity. See Bravo [1] for confirmation of the cast, only Morton and Whitfield are listed as friends. Also the press releases for the season have stated this as well. LHH tables[edit]

Um no that not "fine"??? This isn't characters its a reality show with real people, these casts have main, supporting and guest. Its even in VH1 press releases. Three categories. NOWHERE ELSE in the entire wiki page do they use the term supporting as a "fake guest stars" or whatever you are talking about. Why are you pointlessly changing this now and especially siding with a random anonymous user who has decided to change it? I'm changing everything back. Pinchofhope (talk) 22:59, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I would really prefer you stay away from the LHH pages if you keep trying to change the format every few months. We can't come to one conclusion (and have an agreement with multiple users) and then have you turn around and try and change it all over without even properly discussing it. We tried the four categories before and got in trouble with mods for "stylising" the lists so much so the main, supporting, guest is the most accurate and the most in line with Wiki rules. Like I said VH1 consider those cast members "supporting" not recurring or especially not the random guests as "supporting". I feel like I've been repeating the same thing to you for the past year, I thought you understood. Please let them be. The format is good as it is right now. Pinchofhope (talk) 23:14, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You wasnt repeating that to me, it was to ashley, i never consider guest stars as "Supporting", ashley did that. And recurring is not a fictional term by The say. Zhyboo (talk) 04:11, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Her and liza's name were both added to lastest movie poster, originally both not giving their names featured, but then were added sometime later, so now they're both also recieving star billing. But yeah i understand, i noticed that too. Zhyboo (talk) 04:07, 15 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The Real Housewives of Atlanta[edit]

I don't changes to the friend staus as links on housewives timeline is necessary, after the links are added the color is awful and I forget it says friend because it's really forgettable. You want people to actually notice the timeline and they you like it, it's definitely not noticeable. (75.109.249.79 (talk) 07:14, 4 November 2016 (UTC))[reply]

@75.109.249.79: In regards to "The color is awful" to be quite frank the color is washed out like the coloring of "guest" and "main" and is much more suitable. The template you're suggesting is a lot darker and looks to be the feature, when in fact, the recurring cast members aren't. The links can be removed, I don't care, but the template is a lot more appropriate. The edits you're suggesting to be quit honest seem outdated, which is confirmed when you claimed "They've been like that for years." The current way it's done is a lot easier to read, the link/text contrast works better on the current template. Kelege (talk) 08:02, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, the coloring is more clearer that way. Like "main" and "guest" use a lighter shade of green and blue, we use a lighter shade of red for recurring or friend. That suits it better. Zhyboo (talk) 19:15, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

RHO Notes[edit]

I really think it's redundant and overkill to include "notes" on each episode a housewives joins and departs. It states in the overview and casting if they join after the premiere and the season they don't return to it is also stated their departure. If a housewives leaves during filming or is removed from credits it is already stated as well. I don't think there should be notes o the episode lists of the cast-members appearances. It's all too trival and unnecessary. I'd personally suggest you undo the edits. Kelege (talk) 03:08, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I just was adding notes like in the pages for love and hip hop and basketball wives. And as it was difficult trying to add the notes, it seems difficult to undo them. If its redundant could tou revert them back. At the moment I only can make mobile edits, until I'm near a working computer. Zhyboo (talk) 03:14, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

LHH episode lists[edit]

I think the "(cast member) is absent for one episode" type lists are getting too much. We can't have that and then the "(cast member) does not appear" notes in the episode list, it becomes too redundant. Anyone can quickly look at the episode notes and count how many episodes the cast member has missed so it seems unnecessary. I'll try and figure out a way to include both but I think I'm going to have to remove one or the other. Pinchofhope (talk) 23:25, 20 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The material you added to the plot description was very close to that at IMDb (a copyrigh twebsite), and thus was a copyright violation. Please don't add copyright material to this wiki. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 23:30, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't from imdb, it was revealing the plot. You're suppose to include the full plot. Zhyboo (talk) 01:38, 28 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Mindy Project.[edit]

Hi there! Thanks for helping me out on the One Tree Hill page a while back. Would you be able to help me out again on The Mindy Project page? Another editor is reverting my character table I had made for the article for the reasons of "false" information being displayed. By that, he means 1) an actor appeared as a guest before being promoted to a series regular in the same season and 2) an actor was only in two episodes - apart of the main cast, nonetheless - before departing the show in one season. He states notes should be displayed for these, however, I find it redundant seeing as countless numbers of characters have done this on countless shows, so why should we add in redundant notes? I have set up a section for discussion on the talk page however, he just keeps reverting instead of discussing like he should. So would you be able to take a look and throw in your two cents when you can? Let me know :) Thanks! MSMRHurricane (talk) 17:12, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

LHHATL6 press release[edit]

Where is this press release? Link me, thanks Pinchofhope (talk) 04:23, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

also fyi I'm rewording the episode notes, using the line "After appearing as a guest star, (cast member) is upgraded to a supporting cast member" ONLY for supporting cast members in the first episode of the season, while everyone else who appears after episode one with "this episode marks the first appearance of (cast member) as a supporting cast member". The upgraded thing seems weird for Kim, Judy, Erika, Juju etc because technically their contracts were upgraded at the start of the season. Pinchofhope (talk) 22:56, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Great idea. Zhyboo (talk) 23:20, 15 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

2018 Love & Hip Hop edits[edit]

Hey can you please hold off on changing the format of the season pages? I don't understand why the episode notes need to be expanded, its getting too long and unnecessarily detailed. "Although credited, (cast member) does not appear" is perfectly fine and I don't think it should be changed. Also if we are changing the episode listings for each cast member, it should be either "6/12" or "episodes 1-2, 3-4" etc, not both, or else it will overcomplicate the page. Most season pages on Wikipedia don't even have cast lists so we need to be careful not to go too crazy with the format changes. I'm thinking of simplifying it to just "(cast member) (number of episodes)" rather than episodes 1-2, 3-4 but I want to fix the cast pages first.Pinchofhope (talk) 03:08, 22 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
