License tagging for Image:Swat 048.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Swat 048.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 12:10, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

Great photos, but can I just check where you're getting them from? Are these all photos you've taken yourself? --McGeddon (talk) 15:44, 9 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It'd be good to have an answer to this before you upload too many more photos - if you've misunderstood how Wikipedia image policy works, you could be wasting a lot of time uploading photos which will have to be deleted later.
You seem to be sharing a wide selection of modern military snapshots, much older images, and now fashion photography. Are these genuinely all your own work, or are you drawing them from other sources? --McGeddon (talk) 10:42, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

All photos taken by me as i an ex military, the fashion picure was taken by me of a well known romanian tv fashion model. many regards zat

A tag has been placed on Renato felici requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kingpin13 (talk) 10:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Dora Nichifor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. source of photo[edit]

Hi, I was hoping you could confirm where you got a particular photo from. File:Sbsjumpcourse.jpg. The airfield looks familier and I was hoping you could identify it for me. Many thanks (Stew1664 (talk) 23:08, 10 February 2012 (UTC)).[reply]
