Hi, I protected the page because it keeps getting created even though it's been deleted numerous times. The problem is, there aren't any reliable sources to show how the company is notable, basically to meet our internet notability guidlines, you are going to have to have references such as news articles. There's a number of different types of deletion on wikipedia, speedy deletion, which is how your article got deleted means that someone tags the article for deletion and an administrator comes, checks it over and deletes it if it fails to meet guidlines, there's also articles for deletion, basically, this means that articles are listed on this page and the community comments for a week on whether or not it should be deleted. You've got 2 options really, I can recreate the page and move it out of the article space and into your userspace so you can work on it, or I can recreate, and list it for community discussion as to whether it should be deleted. It's your call, but if you could do me a favour? Try and find some news articles that mention the company so I can try and add them in to show notability. Thanks for the quick response, Ryan. The page was getting recreated quickly over the last couple of days by members of our forum community. I'm not quite sure what exactly they were saying, but there were some threads on our forums about a "Wiki raid" from some unhappy players. Alas.

Regarding notability and some sources to demonstrate such, www.k2network.net is the corporate site. There's an awful lot of news regarding the company, mostly from media sites in the game industry. Here are some sample links:

What is notable about K2 is that we're the largest company bringing Korean online games to U.S. and European markets. Details of that can be found on the K2network.net site. We're not looking to use Wikipedia as an advertisement, our goal is to create a Wiki page similar to that of other online game companies. Here are some of the ones we were looking at, for your reference:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bethesda_Game_Studios
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funcom
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activision

Please let me know if there's any other information you need from me to help go through this process, and thank you for your help.  :)

Edit: regarding the options you mentioned, I think allowing us to work on it in our personal userspace first would be ideal, as we're not exactly Wiki professionals over here.

I've got a really poor internet connection tonight, so I can't check any of the news articles you've given me. I'll restore it for you tomorrow and put it in your userspace, I'll help you get the article upto scratch, and then we'll move it back - it is hard at first to create a page, but you'll soon get the hang of it. Hope that's OK for you, Ryan Postlethwaite 21:41, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds like a great plan to me, and no worries at all regarding the time. Thank you again for your help in getting this sorted out. 216.23.172.40 23:35, 3 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I you click the above link, you'll find your page, many thanks for reminding me to recreate it! Do what ever you want to it, but as I said, what you need to do is source news stories in, but I'll help you with that in the coming days. Ryan Postlethwaite 17:14, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've been taking a look from afar at your editing - page looks good, the problem is, there's no news stories on there at the minute, if you want, I'll add them in tomorrow? I've got a very poor internet connection tonight. Did you say you've got a forum where you've been discussing the page? Ryan Postlethwaite 23:07, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll get back to you tomorrow regarding everything, I'm just about to go to bed (Yes, us wiki-holics need sleep as well!). Ryan Postlethwaite 23:34, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've removed the "principles" section as spam. What you could do for me, is upload a couple of screen shots, and also a complany logo is that's ok. Make sure you make a note of the filename you've given them. Ryan Postlethwaite 23:41, 10 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

K2 Network[edit]

Don't worry, I haven't forgotten! I've got exams in a minute, but I'll be free on friday - so I promise I'll sort your page out then. Ryan Postlethwaite 23:23, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
