Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Zahns construct, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Importance). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at Talk:Zahns construct. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fortran 3 way IF[edit]

In addition to making it a "ref", you might want to correct it. No need to have guesses as to what the compiler did when we actually know. See the 22:04 25 August 2006 (last) entry in the Fortran article's history. In that version of the article, in the Fortran II section, is a link to "System Manual for 704 and 709 Fortran"; that manual gives the template for the code generated by the IF statement. 69.106.254.246 17:10, 24 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nomination of Comparison of CECB units for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Comparison of CECB units is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Comparison of CECB units until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on good quality evidence, and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. --Gh87 (talk) 21:33, 10 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cyber 70[edit]

Thank you for your edits about the Cyber 70. Are you sure that the 70/74 replaced the CDC 6500? I used both the 6400 and the Cyber 70/74 extensively, and I thought that the 70/74 replaced the 6600, not the 6500. As I remember it, the 70/74 was a lot faster than the 6400. Was there a Cyber 70 model that replaced the 6600? Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 20:14, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This says that the 70/74 was a modern version of the 6600. Bubba73 You talkin' to me? 20:19, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Bubba73 - My mistake, you are correct. I'll fix it. Wws (talk) 15:30, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
