Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Winters Instruments, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Winters Instruments and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. AlexGWU (talk) 00:23, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Winters Instruments[edit]

G11 might have been the wrong criteria, but the article still would have been deleted as it shows no claim of notability and has no sources to establish verifiability. I can restore the page to your userspace, where you can work on it until it falls under the guidelines, at which time you can move back into the main namespace or submit it to be created. Your username also makes me have a concern of conflict of interest. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, MrKIA11 (talk) 17:58, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It restored it to User:Winmktg/Winters Instruments. MrKIA11 (talk) 13:48, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I still think it sounds like advertising, but I recommend you submit it for creation, where others can give you more feedback. You also definitely need to cite reliable sources to establish verifiability. MrKIA11 (talk) 18:10, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
