Possibly unhelpful duplication by HBC AIV helperbot7 at AIV

Hello, Wimt. The user instructions at AIV include tow sample reports to cop/paste/edit for registered users, one using {{Vandal|username}}, and one using {{Userlinks|username}}. It seems to me that this is at best unnecessary duplication, and at worst could be confusing for an inexperienced editor. A post about this at Wikipedia talk:Administrator intervention against vandalism has produced some support for removing the version with Userlinks, and, after nearly three weeks, no support for keeping it. Could you get HBC AIV helperbot7 to stop putting it in? JamesBWatson (talk) 12:46, 25 January 2012‎ (UTC)

Hi, any change would be absolutely fine with me, as long as there's a consensus to make it. The change would just need to be made to Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism/instructions and then the bot will automatically begin enforcing the new instructions. As noted on that page, it may take up to half an hour for the bot to notice any changes to the page, but after that it should start enforcing the new version. Bots removing WP:UAA reports on editors temporarily blocked for disruption

History Records (talk · contribs) has been reported at WP:UAA for using a promotional username. However, when the user received a 31-hour block for disruptive editing (constant recreation of HistoryRapper and impersonating fictitious supporters of the article's existence), the bot removed the report and it will be impossible to file one on the username issue until the user's block expires. Could the bot at UAA be fixed so that only a permanent block would result in a UAA report being removed? -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 04:24, 14 February 2012 (UTC)

Just a note that the issue with this one particular user is now moot, as he has been blocked indef as a sock, but it would probably be better anyway if the bots would leave alone users who aren't indef blocked. Calabe1992 14:51, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
