Welcome![edit]

Hi, Whiteplain, and Welcome to Wikipedia!

Welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy the encyclopedia and want to stay. Before getting too in-depth, you may want to read the simplified ruleset. There are thousands of ways to get help on Wikipedia. I personally recommend the Wikipedia:Boot Camp, where in addition to standard posts, you can use an IRC to chat online with fellow Wikipedians willing to help! In addition, Wikipedia also has pages dedicated to the use of Wikipedia, for example, if you need help on how to title new articles check out the naming conventions, and for help on formatting pages visit the manual of style. Feel free to post questions on my talk page - I'm happy to help you with anything you need.

Hi there, could you instead of creating as mainspace article for yourself and Wikipedia related things, you should write it on User:Whiteplain, I have marked the other article for speedy deletion, so if you would like to quickly copy and paste it onto your userpage. Thanks and happy editing!! Tellyaddict 12:58, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

user page[edit]

Hi, I've moved your personal info from article space (that is, the collection of encyclopedia articles) to your user page, as someone has tagged the article space page for deletion. Each user has a page to give a bit of info about themselves (if they wish) and your page 'Whiteplain' seemed to be that kind of page. Squiddy | (squirt ink?) 13:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Whiteplain has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 16:23, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rather inane links[edit]

I have noticed that some of the links on your userpage seem to lead to bizare locations such as the neopets website. Has your userpage been vandalized, or was this done for comic effect?--Munkel (talk) 06:22, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
