A tag has been placed on Paul's Pastry Shop requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

I suggested yesterday that you might be called upon to defend this article's continued presence; apparently it is now time for you to do that. Believe it or not, you can actually call upon me for assistance if you require it; I will point out that arguments for retention that are not based on Wikipedia policy are unlikely to be of much use. I wanted to alert you to the fact that leaving messages on the talk page of Paul's Pastry Shop will not have any effect -- you need to be repeating those comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Paul's Pastry Shop, which is where the crucial discussion will be taking place. Similarly, this discussion is now past the stage where a "hangon" tag will be useful; I will take the liberty of removing it since it will have no effect upon the process and actually causes extra work for administrators who will be called there by its presence.
