Picture of the day[edit]

Thanks for your efforts in writing the Picture of the day blurbs for February 11-20, 2007. However, none of the images you have scheduled is actually a Featured Picture. The PsOTD are selected from the Featured Pictures and posted in order of their selection (with two previously selected PsOTD rerun per week). I've been in charge of scheduling these since last April (I'm not saying I have a monopoly on this and nobody else can do it) and I've been meaning to write guidelines on how to do it in case I get run over by a bus or something, so if you're interested in helping out with this, let me know and I will actually get around to writing the instructions instead of letting that task sit on the backburner. Regards, howcheng {chat} 17:23, 15 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. Even though the picture you selected for March 1, 2007 is in fact a Featured Picture, it's not its turn yet. As I said last time, the PsOTD are selected from the Featured Pictures in order of their promotion (they are listed chronologically at WP:FPT -- most recent on top). February 27's image is Image:Metal movable type.jpg (Feb 28 is a rerun) and the Richat image can found 14 images later. With 5 new and 2 old per week, it's going to be about 18 more days before that one is ready, so I'm moving it to March 19. Also, please examine the existing POTD blurbs to see examples of how they're written so that you can adhere to the already-established format -- for example, the link to the main subject being bold, listing the image credit instead of a link to the source website, not linking to disambiguation pages, etc. You can see the changes I made to your edit at Template:POTD/2007-03-19. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 17:31, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I want to be unbloked because I have never done any inappropriate things. I hardly edit a page, I mostly edit my user page, by adding more userboxes. When I do edit a page, I add more External Links. Can someone please unblock me.

Decline reason:

You account was determined to be a sockpuppet of blocked editor Kimberly Ashton (talk · contribs) by m:CheckUser. This is a violation of WP:BLOCK. -- Rockpocket 08:19, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
