Check what these racit pigs keep doing to my userpage. Zionist garbage have the right to keep userboxes showing support for Israel, and I don't have the right to say I support resistance to Israeli hostilities. Emбargo 00:51, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox[edit]

I would ask you to remove or change the userbox you have on your user page mentioning hezbollah to a more politically neutral/non-offensive version. It violates WP:USER and WP:NOT. ViridaeTalk 06:01, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you replaced Embargo's userbox to his page? It fails the user page guideline, the box is a polemical statement which go against the guidelines, and this has been discussed and consensus has been to not allow it Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 18:14, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May I ask had Embargo asked youto replace it? Ryanpostlethwaite contribs/talk 18:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userpages[edit]

May I please direct you to Wikipedia:User page, where there are certain guidelines as to what may or may not be on a user page. Your own user page may be in violation as well as user:Embargo's. Please familiarize yourself with the wiki guideline/policies in this matter, and adjust your page accordingly. Welcome to wikipedia, and I hope you will be able to contribute successfully! -- Avi 18:24, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to point out that Wikipedia has a policy regarding conflicts of interest. According to the Hassan Nasrallah article, the website with which you claim affiliation, www.wa3ad.org, and from which your username is undoubtedly drawn, is affiliated with Mr. Nasrallah. As such, you should either avoid or exercise great caution when editing that, and affiliated, articles, as set out in WP:COI. Thank you. -- Avi 18:56, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Userbox[edit]

I've removed your hezbollah userbox from your userpage per WP:NOT#SOAPBOX and WP:USER - specifically that polemical statements aren't allowed[1]. Please do not re-add it in it's current state. Regards, Ryan Postlethwaite 22:27, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

About yourself[edit]

AlSala'amu alaykum. Are you really an editor of moqawama.org? What connection do you have with Hizb.alLah? I'm curious because I also wish to know, from yout point of view, what it is that Hizb.alLah wish to achieve currently in Lebanon. I heard that the protest in Riyadh alSolh is still on. Thanks. - Omar 180 14:01, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:ImadMugniyeh.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 01:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 01:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:1153754022.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the image (or other media file) agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the image to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the image has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the image's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Images lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NanohaA'sYuriTalk, My master 19:03, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 04:55, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
