Barnstar[edit]

The Original Barnstar
This barnstar is awarded to everyone who - whatever their opinion - contributed to the discussion about Wikipedia and SOPA. Thank you for being a part of the discussion. Presented by the Wikimedia Foundation.

As the article Lakshmi Putrudu has gone through a 12x expansion and sourcing[1] since first nominated, might you consider a withdrawal so we can close the AFD? Schmidt, MICHAEL Q. 03:29, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Done. -WBTtheFROG

Thanks! I added it back to the list with this reference instead of the old one that was there. WBTtheFROG (talk) 23:31, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Erdős number information[edit]

Hi! Thank you for all of your contributions!  :) I noticed that one of them had been deleted, which I think is unjustifiable. I just reverted a similar deletion, explaining why. Your point of view on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Kragen Javier Sitaker (talk) 04:36, 4 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Kragen: Thanks for pointing this out. My contribution there was adding the citation, and the deletion is a removal of the fact (which, once deleted, makes the supporting citation unnecessary). Whether or not the Erdős number belongs in the article is a separate question, which I see you've started a discussion about here. Though I don't have much to contribute to it right now, in that discussion I find David Eppstein's comments agreeable, especially the qualification "if the subject of an article has a (sourced) story about their connection to Erdős," and focused my contribution on that sourcing. I would like to see sources listed for List of people by Erdős number (esp. in the "1" section) and you're welcome to copy my citation in there, but it doesn't seem to be the norm on that page. --WBTtheFROG (talk) 22:15, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
